Third week in ECQ and because I couldn’t go out to do my old routine, I have lots of time to do things I love, one is definitely cooking!
Pasta dishes are always on my list when preparing for a celebration. Its my go to recipe whenever I think of the easiest but gourmet-ish dish to serve on my table.
This ECQ gave me more chance to cook my favorites and do more experiments in the kitchen. Last night I prepared my ‘almost’ Seafood Marinara pasta dish, lol – Garlic Shrimp Pasta with Lemon!
Here’s how to prepare it:
8 ounces pasta
1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 cup Capers
1/2 cup Olives
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
8 tablespoons (1 stick) unsalted butter, divided
4 cloves garlic and 1 clove of onion, minced
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon hot sauce
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan
2 tablespoons chopped fresh celery leaves
1 Lemon, Olive oil
