This pandemic might changed our lives, big time, but this doesn’t (and will never) stop us from being positive and creative – to make use of our present to showcase Pinoy’s talent and skills in fashion.
It was a success. Last November 12, the world’s first-ever couture mask fashion show was held in parnership with different fashion forward brands, led by ÀMEN, a Filipina-led fashion brand.
This was attended by our favorite influencers, celebrities, bloggers, DJ’s, and other guests. (Lexi Mendiola, Patricia Henson, Bea Fabregas, Sofia Pablo, Janina Vela, Kim Cruz, Melissa Ricks, Say Alonzo were all in the event)
The fashion show was inspiring, mind-blowing, and Magnifique. Each mask tells a story of strong, impressive women in history that have progressed from being in the dark and then finding the light — aligning with ÀMEN’s values to help women move their lives from point A to point B.
The fashion show was also graced by these special guests – Joyce Pring, Janeena Chan, and Joy Mendoza – who shared their personal stories of how they came from point A to point B. #AMENMakesHistory
- Joyce Pring shared how she found permanent mental healing after attempting suicide numerous times.
- Janeena Chan shared how she overcame and came out thriving when she went through Bell’s Palsy.
- Joy Mendoza shared how she found a way to forgive the seven men who raped her.
